GIVE THEM AWAY

The goal of Rosary Army is to freely give one knotted Rosary to each household in the United States.  We Make Them. Pray Them. Give Them Away.

But to do this, we need you help.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, donations of all-twine knotted Rosaries (no beaded or plastic Rosaries accepted) that adhere to our submission standards are tax deductible.

All rosaries submitted following Rosary Army's submission standards will receive a tax receipt from Rosary Army.

Please download and print this Rosary Submission Form when mailing your rosaries to Rosary Army.

Ready to Donate Your Rosaries?

We promise to find a new home for your beautiful Rosaries.  Thanks for being a part of Rosary Army!

Rosary Army's Submission Standards

Rosary Army only distributes all-twine knotted Rosaries with metal Crucifixes.  Each Rosary we give away includes instructions on how to make these specific types of Rosaries.  It is our hope that others will use your donated Rosaries as a model for ones they will freely give to others.  Therefore, since 2003 we've requested that all donated Rosaries follow these standards:

  • All Rosary submissions must include a completed Rosary donation form.
  • All Rosaries must be knotted Rosaries (except for the Crucifix - see below)
  • RA Rosaries must be made with #36 nylon twine only (see list of suppliers)
  • Rosaries must include a metal Crucifix (see list of suppliers)
  • No plastic or beaded Rosaries
  • No plastic Crucifixes
  • No knotted crosses
  • Knots should be very tight.  If you can pull on the Rosary and the space between knots increases, the knots are not tight enough.
  • Completed Rosaries should be no longer than 23 inches, with tight knots.
  • Please do not send in blessed Rosaries.  If your Rosaries have been blessed, please include a note so that we can ensure they are properly distributed and cared for.
  • Do not individually bag Rosaries.  Instead, please gather them in groups (approximately 10 at a time), and secure them with twine at the top, middle, and bottom.  This will keep them from tangling and make them easier to prepare for shipping.

I just donated all-twine knotted Rosaries to Rosary Army! Visit www.RosaryArmy.com and learn how become a part of their mission: Make Them. Pray Them. Give Them Away. #RosaryArmy
