A 33-day journey with St. Louis de Montfort

Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary.

A prayerful preparation to completely give yourself to Jesus following Mary’s example, strengthened by daily prayer, and rooted in the method of St. Louis de Montfort.

Part of our story since 2003

Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary played a direct role in the founding of Rosary Army and its mission to make, pray, and give away all-twine knotted Rosaries and encourage others to do the same.

Consecration explained

Set apart for Jesus. Guided by Mary.

To consecrate something means to set it apart for a sacred purpose. In Total Consecration, we entrust ourselves to Jesus Christ and ask Mary to help us follow Him with the same faith, humility, and love she showed throughout her life.

Total Consecration is about drawing closer to Jesus through the mother who knew Him, loved Him, and followed Him perfectly.

A conversation about consecration

What does it mean to give everything to Jesus through Mary?

Greg joins Matt Swaim on the Son Rise Morning Show to explain the heart of Total Consecration, why the 33-day preparation matters, and how his own consecration helped shape the founding of Rosary Army.

Your journey ahead

Four parts over thirty-three days.

Days 1–12

Spirit of the World

Begin by recognizing and letting go of the habits, values, and attachments that pull the heart away from Christ.

Days 13–19

Knowledge of Self

Ask for honest self-knowledge, repentance, and the grace to see both your need for God and His mercy toward you.

Days 20–26

Knowledge of Mary

Contemplate Mary’s virtues and interior life so her faith, humility, obedience, and love can shape your own response to God.

Days 27–33

Knowledge of Jesus Christ

Turn your attention more fully toward Jesus—His life, His Sacred Heart, His mysteries, and His call to complete surrender.

Traditional start dates

Choose a feast day and count backward.

The preparation is commonly timed so the act of consecration falls on a Marian feast or the memorial of St. Louis de Montfort. You may also begin at another time if that is more practical; the important thing is to pray faithfully through the preparation.
